It’s exactly what it sounds like! We work on what’s called a “contingency fee”, meaning our payment is contingent upon getting our client compensation for their case. If you choose to hire Locke Henry Law to represent you in your car or truck accident, or if you choose to retain our services for any number of employment law issues, you will not have to pay a single case fee unless we reach a settlement or secure winning verdict for you. We don’t get paid unless we win your case and all associated case expenses are paid as part of the settlement we obtain for you.

If we, for whatever reason, do not win your case, you will not be charged for associated litigation costs or any other expenses our firm has incurred over the course of working on your case.

Every case is different. Some can resolve within months while other cases may take years. There are a multitude of factors that go into how long it will take a case to resolve that can be specific to a client’s medical treatment, the amount of insurance involved, or liability issues that may require discovery through the litigation process to resolve. Ultimately, a case should resolve when a client’s medical conditions and future treatment have been documented and ascertained by their treating physicians, when all defendants and all possible insurance policies that may apply to the claim have been identified, and, when liability on the part of all defendants involved has been established.

Right now, yes! Locke Henry is licensed to practice law in both Texas and Wisconsin, so those are the places he’s able to personally represent clients and handle all aspects of their case. For the time being, we’re focusing all our effort on helping our Texan neighbors and are not actively working on cases in Wisconsin. In certain situations, Locke Henry Law will partner with trusted local counsel outside of his licensed jurisdiction.
